Festival organisers have announced that they will be taking a break in 2018 and the Sark Folk Festival will have a year off.
SFF has been hugely successful since the first festival in 2010. It has been run, right from the start, by a very committed group of volunteers who have given a huge amount of time to make the not-for-profit festival happen.
For a number of reasons, the committee have decided it is time to have a break year – for the good of the festival and for the individuals who work so hard to make it happen. Changes have occurred since the first festival, especially with regards to personal situations, and the committee feels that this would be the ideal opportunity to have a break and take stock of what we have.
This year’s festival is still going ahead as planned and will take place from 30th June to 2nd July 2017. Tickets for the event have sold out.
The committee would like to thank everyone associated with the festival for their continuous and highly valued support.
