Bath Folk Festival New Shoots competition

Bath folk festival in conjunction with Real world studios continues its competition in which hopeful musicians will be playing for a place in the final during the Bath folk festival. Finalists will get an opportunity to record at this prestigious studio founded by Peter Gabriel which is regarded as one of the greatest studios in the world by many of the world’s most professional musicians.

The first heat saw 6 acts battle it out, with The Green Angels from Glastonbury making it to the final with their of French & Breton dance music fused with funky breaks and hypnotic loops. We have over 25 acts show casing their talents in some of the venues that will feature during the festival. Each event will also be raising funds for the festival. There will be heats in the following places on these dates.
