For the fifth year running Leigh Folk Festival have released a compilation of the artists who played the festival. This year's beautifully presented collection runs to a generous twenty-three tracks and is yours for little more than a pint and packet of pork scratchings!
Highlights are plentiful and include Martin McCathy's 'James Hatley', Matthew Boulter's 'Once I Was A Blackbird' and Burton Bradstock's funky take on 'John Barleycorn'. If you were there buy it. And, if you weren't, check out what you missed and clear your diary for next year!
Here are some more tracks from the CD:
K.C McKanzie 'Machine Gun Fire'
Danny Hayman & The Secondary Modern 'Two Tree Island'
