Ewan McLennan 'The Last Bird To sing'

Released to great acclaim, Ewan McLennan's latest album 'The Last Bird to Sing' showcases the Scottish singer/songwriter's many talents. Winner of several awards, including the 2011 BBC Radio 2 Horizon Award, Ewan combines traditional folk with his own self-penned songs and has become a regular feature of the live roots music scene.

Recorded in Cumbria over two five day sessions Ewan produced the album alongside Paul Adams and was joined by John McCusker, Laurence Blackadder, Karine Polwart and Martin Simpson. You can read our full assessment of the album HERE
