Luke Jackson album launch and live dates

We came across Luke at the 2012 Bristol Folk Festival, Dave Kushar said 'The young Luke Jackson already posesses some finely honed abilities; with guitar hitched high, and a sumptuous voice at his disposal, he regales us with stories of childhood from a forthcoming release and handles Martyn Joseph's 'Please Sir' and trad numbers like a seasoned pro.' Luke launches his debut album at Shrewsbury Folk Festival.

More than Boys, is produced by acclaimed Welsh singer-songwriter Martyn Joseph. Its inspiration is the passage from childhood to young adult, something that is fresh for Luke as he has just celebrated his eighteenth birthday.

Luke Jackson sings with an extraordinarily rich voice and possesses a guitar technique astonishing for one so young. I first heard him sing four years ago and even then his songwriting suggested a performer of rare promise. I confidently predict Luke will be one of the success stories of this year’s Shrewsbury Festival.”

Unfortunately you can't get tickets for the festival as it has sold out, however we hope to interview Luke at the Festival and you will be able to watch it here on the live video streaming from the festival over the weekend of 27 - 27 August.
