Pledge your support for Lorraine McCauley & The Borderlands

lorraine, mccauley,

Pledge music campaigns are a great way for acts to raise the necessary funds to produce the stuff we love. One such act, currently in need of support, are Lorraine McCauley & The Borderlands, who wish to complete their 'Light In Darkest Corners' album.

Basically, if you pledge £10 you'll receive a download of the album once it's complete. So far, so good, but pledge a little more and receive more! There's posters, handmade books, singing lessons and private concerts galore on offer, so take your pick.

Irish singer songwriter, Lorraine McCauley's recent EP release 'Haunt me' attracted some very well deserved attention, with Lorraine and her band being BBC introduced live on Radio 1 and invited to play on the Celtic Connections newcomer stage at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Lorraine plays both solo and with her band, The Borderlands. Over the past year, she has played gigs across Scotland and music festivals (sharing the line-up with the likes of Jesca Hoop, King Creosote, The Beat and Lunasa). The Borderlands are Jonee Duggan on accordion, Nick Jenkins on viola and Billy Hamilton on cello.

Lorraine explains all:
