Spiral Awards 2011 are Live!

VOTING HAS CLOSED AND THE WINNERS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED. The nominations are announced and you can vote to decide the winners of this years awards. The nominations this year reflect the wider scope that Spiral Earth has pursued throughout 2010, always grounded in folk and roots but willing to go wherever it takes us. Rather than just the editorial team at Spiral doing the nominations as last year we have pulled in a much bigger nominating panel, we have limited it to people who can be as objective as possible so there are journalists, musicians and club and venue organisers in there. We are very pleased with the spread of artists that have been nominated, and it also signifies the spread of Spiral Earth to coverage of America, something that we will be pursuing in 2011.
