Allan Yn Y Fan Summer gigs
Allan Yn Y Fan have announced their concert and festival appearances for the Summer of 2010, taking in a headlining slot at a terrific English world music festival and a very special concert on home ground to mark the National Eisteddfod being in Ebbw Vale. These are the first public concerts since the band completed their highly successful Home Ground Tour with harpist Delyth Jenkins in the Spring of this year.
The dates are :-
Saturday 3rd July :- Erwood Station Crafts Centre 25th Anniversary Celebrations
Friday 9th July :- Cardiff International Food & Drink Festival – Oval Basin Cardiff Bay
Sunday 25th July :- Rhythms of the World Festival Hitchin Hertfordshire
Friday 6th August :- Beaufort Theatre Ebbw Vale (re: National Eisteddfod Blaenau Gwent)
Saturday 4th September :- Newport Big Splash Festival at Riverfront Theatre Newport
Allan Yn Y Fan have been overwhelmed by the very positive reviews gained by the release of the EP “Lle Arall” back in March whilst plaudits for their recent album release “Trosnant” continue to roll in. Also the band have recently had features in fROots, R2 (formerly Rock’n’Reel) and, closer to home, Plugged In Magazines. Airplay continues to grow across the world for the band’s music with recent features on radio stations in Alaska and Georgia in the USA!
