The QP: A stunning blend of folk, jazz, funk, rock and blues

The QP are seven young and talented musicians who describe their music as 'a mixture of traditional and original numbers, ranging from acoustic songs to Klezmer influenced folk-rock'. They use their individual backgrounds in folk, jazz, funk, rock, blues, to put on some stunning performances as we've just witnessed at the Ely Festival. Now, the group have released 'Intro', their debut album, as a cool example of their unique sound.
And if you are wondering about the name they were originally called 'The Quarter Pounders' but changed to the more svelte version last year as they felt it sounds 'a little healthier'.
