This London-Irish 6 piece comprise a trad Irish lead section of fiddle, whistle, banjo and Uillean pipes, they then give it a kick up the arse with an electro punk rythm section. The passionate vocals are by Leeson O'Keeffe, formerly of Shane MacGowans Popes.

An established act in the folk-punk scene since '97 their psycho-ceilidh sound is distinctly contemporary Irish, yet never dipping into sentimentality. Their first album, 'Here's Mud in Yer Eye' has a glossary of Irish slang and its cultural references for us eejits.

The up-lifting, rowdy NECK live show has toured  throughout the UK, Ireland, USA and Europe.   Festival appearances have included Glastonbury (3 times), Beautiful Days, Wasted (twice), the West Belfast Feile an Phobail and the Ardoyne Fleadh in Belfast, Skagen in Denmark, Punk'n'Disorderly in Berlin, With Full Force in Germany, the Wildwood Irish Festival in New Jersey and the Irish Rock festival in New York.   NECK have supported or toured with: Stiff Little Fingers, The Undertones, Shane MacGowan & The Popes, Levellers, Real McKenzies, Misfits, Dubliners, Black 47, and their US 'IRISH PUNK' contemporaries The Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly.
