The Towersey Village Festival is unique amongst festivals in it's relationship with the village community that becomes its home every year.

The five dayfestival is held in the village of Towersey near Thame in Oxfordshire on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Started in 1965 it has gained a reputation as one of the most laid back, family friendly festivals of the year. Events fill the stages and showground as well as some being held within the village itself.

Towersey is a Festival where young and old share camping space, where partying, dancing, singing and playing sit comfortably alongside quiet reflection, relaxation and catching up with friends.  One of the friendliest and most welcoming Festival communities around!

SpiralEarth.co.uk, the online hub for folk and roots music in the UK, were busy at Towersey in 2009 filming live performances and interviewing your favourite artists to produce a special DVD of the festival.

Available now, the DVD is packed with vibrant live sets and intimate interviews, and succeeds in capturing the essence and spirit of the popular and well-loved festival, now approaching it's 45th year.
