These guys are a prime example of the current explosion of hungry new acts fusing old and new. Trad instruments with synths, samples and loops combine with genre busting rythms to create some footstomping grooves.

Just reading the band profile on their web site gives a great snapshot of a band forming and developing in an organic way. Their influences are UK and European, leading to some music that could satisfy all sorts of moods. There's not many bands whose CD could be an accompaniment to a chilled out dinner party, and equally work as well to throw yourself spastically round a dance floor to (maybe that's just me though)

Their latest album has all these moods, from a chilled euro cafe feel on '80 euros' to the monster guitar intro of 'Party in the Arc'. They sound like a band packed with potential.

I normally detest accordians, but here they sound bloody good...
