Despite some showers on Friday night and Saturday the sun actually shone! Everyone involved in the Ely Festival regards this year as being the best ever. The mix of new and established acts was spot on with something for everyone. Many people remarked to me how relaxing the whole event was, there was space to lie down on the grass, the marquees had room for all and the beer tent had a delicious variety of ales and ciders.
