Kate Doubleday: the Welsh Water-ways Tour

kate, doubleday, welsh, waterways, tour,

This summer Wales-based singer-songwriter Kate Doubleday is joined by multi-talented instrumentalist Trevor Lines (bass/ukelele), Dan Wilkins (guitar/kora) and Marie Smith (cello/voice) to explore six stunning waterscapes on a unique tour of Wales.

Kate’s original songs draw inspiration from nature, and in particular from the beautiful mid-Wales Dyfi Valley and estuary. Her new music has a reflective quality, evoking collective and unconscious memories. She will perform alongside the water in order to evoke a sense of place and to take the audience on a musical journey to glistening waterscapes where many of the songs were conceived.
