Homegrown will feature the very best in English folk music, with gigs and sessions across three full days.
The first performers to be revealed are Eliza Carthy, Gavin Davenport, Jim Moray, Skinny Lister, Pilgrimís Way, Emily Portman Trio, Faustus, Mawkin, Dizraeli and the Small Gods, and a number of up and coming stars courtesy of Folk Rising.
The Met has long been known for its excellence in programming English folk music, and with Homegrown, it hopes to further showcase the genre in a similar vein to Celtic Connections.
